Food/Time Management

How does food and time management fit together?  You and your family is in a hurry to pick up children, drop off children, get to the “fill in the blank”, and oh yea feed the family.  This life style, which for some reason we now accept as normal, pushes us to the limit on our schedule and as a result our source of fuel for our bodies. Instead of treating our bodies as highly tuned biomechanical machines, the equivalent of the Space Shuttle, we put high calorie low content fuel. We are in a rush so we stop by the local gas and go (fast food) and shove in anything rather than the optimum fuel we desperately need to keep up with the pace we demand of our selves.  One way we may be able to increase the fruits and vegetables our children need may be through having a regular meal time as suggested in this article.

Not only are we depriving our bodies of the nutrients we needs we deprive our children of communications skills, social skills and better grades to name a few.

So what do we do? Start by getting a plan. We don’t plan to fail, we just fail to plan. A quick search online will yield many options that can be tailored to your needs. Some of them do have a monthly cost associated but remember once you get your plans and schedules working together there is no absolute you must continue with the services. Get out of your current rut and create a better groove of health.
